This page explains how Novelty Solutions LLC uses SMS for one-time passcodes (OTPs) and how your consent works. The program is OTP-only: SMS messages are sent only in response to your login or other security actions, not for marketing or recurring alerts.

Program Description (OTP-only)

One-Time Passcodes for Authentication

When you add a mobile number to your Novelty Solutions account, you can choose to receive one-time passcodes ("OTPs") by SMS to verify your identity when you sign in or perform certain security-sensitive actions. Messages are only sent in direct response to your requests (for example, when you attempt to log in, verify your device, or reset your password).

Novelty Solutions will not use this number for recurring marketing or promotional text messages.

(a) Consent Checkbox / Flow

Place this near the phone number field and the primary action button on your signup/login or "Add phone" screen.

Checkbox text:

[ ] I confirm that this is my mobile number and consent to receive one-time passcodes by SMS from Novelty Solutions LLC only when I initiate a login or other security verification request. Message and data rates may apply.

Supporting text (just below, smaller):

Novelty Solutions sends SMS one-time passcodes on an as-needed basis, only in response to your requests; messages are not recurring marketing texts. Reply STOP to stop SMS passcodes and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. See our [Terms of Service] and [Privacy Policy].

You should log the consent event (timestamp, device/IP, phone number, and the exact text presented) to support TCPA compliance for OTP and informational texts.

Configure your SMS provider so these replies are automatic and enforced immediately.

Standard OTP message:

Novelty Solutions: Your verification code is 123456. It expires in 10 minutes. Msg&data rates may apply.

On STOP (or equivalent keyword):

Novelty Solutions: You have opted out of SMS one-time passcodes. You will no longer receive verification codes by text. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help.

On HELP:

Novelty Solutions: For help with SMS passcodes, contact privacy@noveltysolutions.net.
